My Story
My Story
From the very moment I learned to speak, I had a love for creating and telling stories. As far back as I can remember, I’ve always had an interest in filmmaking. In 5th grade, I discovered Windows Movie Maker, using it to create Minecraft Let’s Plays and some truly terrible movies. But even those early projects sparked something in me—a passion for storytelling through video and digital media.
By freshman year of high school, my interests had grown into something more tangible. I was placed in charge of the bulk of my school’s media productions, an opportunity that pushed me to develop my skills in film, editing, and content creation. I took two film classes and a photography class, allowing me to refine my techniques and experiment with different styles. I also took on the responsibility of managing the school news and other productions, gaining valuable experience in coordinating projects and leading a creative team.
By sophomore year, I had the chance to put my skills to the test in a short film competition, where I won 1st place. That moment reinforced my love for filmmaking, but my passion extends beyond just video. I’ve always loved digital media as a whole, from photo editing in Photoshop to designing graphics and experimenting with different creative tools.
Filmmaking and digital media are more than just hobbies—they’re a core part of who I am. Whether I’m behind a camera, editing footage, or bringing an idea to life through digital design, I find joy in the entire creative process. As I continue to grow, I’m excited to explore new ways to tell stories and push the boundaries of visual storytelling.
